Mrs. Patty Kore was appointed Acting Assistant Comissioner in 2019. Mrs. Kore joined PNGCS on 11th May, 1977. Mrs. Kore is one of the most senior civillian officers employed by the department. She has worked her way up over the years to her current designation.  Prior to her appointment as Acting Assistant Commissioner, she was Director-Human Resource.  Mrs. Kore has over 43 years of experience as a Corrections administrator and she currently heads the Personnel, Finance and Administrations divisions of the organization which are made up of;  Finance, HR, and CSHQ Administration.  She is also a member of the Correctional Service Executive Team (CSET).
