The Commissioner of PNG Correctional Service, Stephen POKANIS OBE, DCS hosted a small but significant ceremony to officially open the separate confinment unit at the Bomana Correctional Institution.

Present for this occassion was the Minister for Correctional Service, Hon. Win Bakri Daki, MP and Mr. Jon Philip from the Australian High Commission.  Also present was the Commanding Officer for Bomana Correctional Institution and other senior executives and officers of the department.
